Multiactive Treatment Transparent Mascara by U/1ST has a gel-like formula with a high-water content, which facilitates the introduction of water-soluble active ingredients such as panthenol, one of the product's star ingredients.

Panthenol (also known as provitamin B5) is a molecule derived from pantothenic acid, a water-soluble vitamin with good skin permeability. It can be found in plant and animal tissues but is 100% synthetic when used in cosmetics.

"It has moisturising, protective, soothing and conditioning properties, making it a very important ingredient in a mascara", they add.
